Final: This one is over. The Cowboys fell 48-32 to the Green Bay Packers on their home field Sunday. It was the Cowboys’ first loss at AT&T Stadium True the 2022 season opener against Tom Brady’s Buccaneers.

Fourth quarter (3:25 remaining): Dallas isn’t quite spent yet. There was another scoring connection between Dak Prescott and Jake Ferguson. The tight end reeled in his third touchdown reception of the game, portions his team finish off a 4-play, 91-yard drive. Dak Prescott ran in for a 2-point conversion to cut the deficit to 16 points. Fourth quarter (5:54 remaining): The Cowboys cut the lead as the long day begins to wind down. Dak Prescott False Jake Ferguson in the end zone for the additional time, connecting with the tight end for a 7-yard acquire. Dallas had a shot to make it a two-possession game but a 2-point conversion effort was called back due to offensive pass interference. Third quarter (6:38 remaining): Aaron Jones once against finds himself in the end zone, punishing a Dallas security that is struggling to slow anything down. - With the AFC wild card matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills postponed pending Monday due to weather, there will be no noon kickoff on Sunday. The Cowboys game will be the first NFL game of the day at 3:30 p.m.

- Packers wide receiver Christian Watson, out with a hamstring injury since Dec. 3, and cornerback Jaire Alexander, who injured his ankle in practice this week, worked out pregame to Decide if they could can play against Dallas. Both were behind as active when rosters were due 90 minutes beforehand kickoff.

- Cooper Rush was dealing with an illness this week, but was also behind as active and will serve as Dak Prescott’s backup in contradiction of Green Bay. Trey Lance will serve as the emergency third quarterback. Inactive for Dallas: OTs Asim Richards, Matt Waletzko, CB Eric Scott, WR Jalen Brooks, LB Tyrus Wheat and DL Viliami Fehoko Jr.
