Cowboys’ Dak Prescott knows latest playoff flop can’t be dismissed: ‘I sucked tonight’

No more learning opportunities. No more talk throughout getting better. You’re either good enough to move on or you’re not.

Prescott has shown yet in contradiction of he’s not good enough. Because he’s not, some peril decisions lie ahead for the Jones family.

The Cowboys’ 48-32 wild card loss to Green Bay isn’t the sort of defeat that scholarships a team to go quietly into the cold night and regroup. The utter humiliation that took place Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium carries consequences.

Only one potential scenario threatened to activate the doomsday option. Only one possible outcome could put jobs and extensions in jeopardy and fuel the speculative flames throughout luring Bill Belichick to the franchise.

Rail alongside coach Mike McCarthy all you want. Shake your head in disbelief at what may have been Dan Quinn’s farewell as protecting coordinator. Another aspect of this stunning defeat can’t be dismissed or swept notion the rug.

The 403 yards passing and three touchdowns are fool’s gold. When the Cowboys obligatory their quarterback to be at his best, he was at his worst.
